Global Psytech's Participation in the Global Forum on Islamic Economics and Finance (GFIEF)

Global Psytech took part in the Global Forum on Islamic Economics and Finance (GFIEF), held in Kuala Lumpur on May 28-29, 2024, under the patronage of the Ministry of Finance Malaysia, organized by Bank Negara Malaysia, in collaboration with the Securities Commission Malaysia, the Labuan Financial Services Authority, the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation, the Islamic Development Bank, the Islamic Financial Services Board, and the World Bank Group.
Global Psytech showcased its behavioral analytics solutions at the forum, notably the GFI system, an AI-based psychometric credit assessment system that helps advance financial inclusion and drive Islamic finance forward. We were honored to welcome many distinguished guests to our booth, including Malaysia's Minister of Finance, Tengku Zafrul, who paid us a special visit.

Collaboration Between Credit Bureau Malaysia and Global Psytech to Support the Gig Economy and Underserved Groups

Credit Bureau Malaysia and Global Psytech are collaborating to develop an advanced credit-assessment model that combines traditional credit information with alternative data. The project aims to redefine credit assessment and behavioral analysis using psychographic data.
By combining Credit Bureau Malaysia's extensive credit data with Global Psytech's advanced behavioral analytics, this partnership seeks to improve the accuracy and inclusiveness of credit assessments.
The new model focuses on strengthening financial inclusion, particularly for gig-economy workers and underserved groups, incorporating alternative data such as transaction records and psychographic data to provide a more accurate picture of creditworthiness. Key benefits include improved credit-scoring models, greater financial inclusion, and stronger risk management for lenders.
This partnership promises to transform the financial services sector, delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of consumers and businesses.

Financial Inclusion in the Pacific Islands Under the MDXG Grant by MDEC
Under the Malaysia Digital Export Grant (MDXG), Global Psytech had the opportunity to collaborate with three leading organizations in Fiji to strengthen entrepreneurial capacity. These organizations include the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), SPBD Microfinance Limited (Fiji), and Sole Fintech Fiji.
This collaboration aims to advance financial inclusion and economic empowerment in Fiji through innovative entrepreneurial and financial solutions and support programs.

In 2022, we proudly supported ABS Greentech’s project aimed at advancing sustainable agriculture in Asia through an Integrated Pest Management system and smart farming techniques. Our strategic selection of participating farmers laid a strong foundation for the project’s success. We congratulate ABS Greentech and the remarkable team, including Mr. R.M. Ravichandar S. Ratnam, for successfully completing a Proof of Concept (POC) in Kalumpang. Witnessing this inspiring journey firsthand, we are excited about the sustainable and efficient farming future this collaboration promises. Our behavioural analytic solution played a crucial role in selecting farmers dedicated to producing pesticide-free food, ensuring safety for all.
